Missed call calculator: what are yours worth?

A call you don't pick up in this trade isn't a $60 job — it's a full front, a tint package, a coating. Put in your own call log, close rate and ticket, and see the number. No industry averages, no benchmarks, nothing sent anywhere.

The short answer

What is a missed call calculator?

A missed call calculator turns three numbers you already know into the one you do not: missed calls a week, the share you would normally close, and your average ticket. Multiply them out over a year and the figure is usually larger than a shop expects. Everything runs in your browser.

FAQ

Missed-call math, answered

How do I work out what a missed call costs my shop?

Multiply three of your own numbers. Take the calls you miss in a typical week and turn them into a month (about 4.3 weeks). Multiply that by the share of callers you normally close — your real close rate, not a target. Multiply that by your average ticket. The result is the revenue that walked past you, and it is usually larger than owners expect, because a missed call in this trade is rarely a $60 job. This calculator does that arithmetic live and then lets you set what share of it you think you could win back.

Where do I find how many calls I miss?

Your phone's call history is the honest source: count the inbound calls with no answer over a normal week, including the ones that hit voicemail and the ones that hung up. Add the after-hours ones — a Saturday afternoon call about a full front is worth the same as a Tuesday one. If your number runs through a business system, the missed-call count is usually already in its reporting.

Does this calculator use industry averages?

No. Every number on this page is one you typed in. We publish no benchmark for close rate, ticket size or missed calls, and no figure for how much of it an AI front desk wins back — that last one is a slider you set yourself, because we have no permissioned customer results to base a claim on and would not invent one.

Does this send my numbers anywhere?

No. All the math runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded, saved or shared, and the page does not know your revenue, ticket size or close rate. Refresh and it resets.
