The short answer
What is Service VIN?
Service VIN is the operations center an automotive service shop runs on. One login carries the phone line and texting, live margin quotes with e-sign, 24/7 booking with deposits, the bay board, invoices and card payments, reviews and Google Ads, and an AI front desk that answers the calls you miss.
It is one system rather than six: the phone line, the inbox, quoting, booking, the bay board, invoicing, reviews and ads all read the same customer, vehicle and job record.
Every quote carries a live profit margin costed from the shop's own material and labour cost, so a discount is a decision taken before the quote is sent.
13 AI agents plus a voice receptionist (beta) answer calls, text back missed ones, chase open quotes and ask for reviews, in the shop's own voice, with quiet hours and opt-outs enforced in code.
Flat pricing for the whole shop, Essentials $79, Growth $199, Operations $299, Command $399 in US dollars, with no per-seat charge and unlimited team logins from Growth up.
Bottom line: Start with the call you missed on the Operations plan at $299 a month, or move the whole shop across. Both begin with the same 14-day free trial.
Trusted by 500+ shops
Detailing, PPF, tint, wrap and ceramic shops run their day on it: quoting from the roll, booking from the phone, invoicing before the car leaves.

ServiceVin's AI message composer is hands down the best feature I’ve used in software like this. It drafts complete, accurate replies directly in my inbox by automatically pulling package prices and checking my calendar availability. No more taking screenshots or jumping back and forth between external AI tools and my calendar. It saves me so much time every day and works seamlessly.

After six months with ServiceVin, I couldn't be happier—it has streamlined my business into one platform so I no longer need multiple softwares. Despite a few minor hiccups at the start, their customer service and communication are the absolute best I've experienced, resolving any rare issues right away. They actively work with me on new features to fit my workflow, and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a reliable, all-in-one solution.

I ran an eight-bay shop out of a Google Sheet and about four hundred unread text messages. Now nothing gets on the calendar without a deposit attached to it, and it takes my front counter about ninety seconds. No-shows went from twice a month to twice since March.

Car comes in with a chipped hood, goes out wrapped, and six weeks later the customer swears we did it. Now the whole car gets photographed at intake, timestamped, attached to the job. Last time it came up I pulled the photo, sent it, and the guy apologized. Haven't eaten one since.

Before Service VIN, I was juggling three different platforms just to manage customer data, invoicing, and shop communications. Having everything unified under one roof has completely revolutionized my paint protection film business. It's an incredible, all-in-one platform that changed the way I work.

Three locations, and my problem was never effort, it was that I couldn't compare them. Now it's one screen — cars through the door, average ticket, installer hours, and every quote over $1,000 nobody followed up on. First month I found $34,000 in dead quotes sitting across the three shops. We closed about a third of it.

Usually, swapping shop management software is a total nightmare that eats up days of learning and headaches getting all our shop data over. ServiceVIN made it painless—we were fully set up and running jobs in less than a day. Having phones, customer quotes, invoicing, and an online booking link embedded right on our site all in one place saves us huge time on the floor. Couldn't be happier with it!

Why this exists
“The hard part of this trade was never the work in the bay. It's everything around it.”
Service VIN was built inside a working PPF and detailing shop in Canada, because nothing on the market could cost a quote from the roll on the rack or chase a quiet quote from inside a bay. A missed call there wasn't a notification. It was a job that went to whoever picked up. So the tools got built at night, then rebuilt properly. This is the software that shop runs on today.
Anyone can build a CRM now. This isn't one.
Your own business number, texting on a carrier-registered line.
Every call recorded, transcribed and summarised on the customer.
Card payments that settle into your own Stripe account, not ours.
Google Ads and review replies wired to the jobs they produced.
A booking storefront of your own that takes the deposit up front.
The crew clocked on, and their pay worked out from the same jobs.
A CRM is a list. This is the day.
The front desk
It starts with the call you missed.
Every missed call answered in seconds. The quote you promised, drafted before you hang up. Booked straight into your calendar.
It answers from your real services, your real prices and your real calendar — and writes the booking into them. No migration, no data to move — it runs beside whatever you use today.
A customer reading a text in her parked car, a shop owner at her laptop and at the shop's glass door, and the call, text-thread, quote, calendar and review panels drawn over the pictures.

Know your profit before you hit send.
Build a quote line by line and watch margin update live, costed from your real material and labour cost, not a guess. The customer approves online, picks add-ons, pays a deposit, and the yes becomes an invoice and a scheduled job on its own.

A closed loop drawn as a ring with four stations: a click, the job it becomes, the paid invoice at the end of that job, and Google, where the paid invoice is reported back as that click's real value, so bidding learns from booked work instead of form fills. Sample data.
$2,890 → GoogleSample data
Then the paid invoice goes back to Google as that click's real value.
Google can only count what it can see: clicks, form fills, calls started. Service VIN owns the other half, the quote, the booked bay and the paid invoice, and grades every campaign in jobs and dollars. An agency can't do the return leg and your old shop software can't do the bidding leg, so the loop takes one system that owns both ends.
Campaigns are created paused, imported ones start report-only, and your daily ceiling is never crossed. Every guardrail is on the Google Ads Autopilot page.
New software starts empty. Yours starts configured.
The evening of typing (every service, every price, the hours grid, the hex code buried in your website) is the evening that decides whether new software gets used. Paste your website; the Setup Assistant proposes the whole shop and writes nothing until you approve.

An example run of the Setup Assistant: given a shop's website address it proposes fourteen priced services, the hours and timezone, the brand colour taken from the site's CSS and the shop's tone of voice, and flags the tax rate and whether the shop does mobile jobs as questions for the owner rather than guessing. Nothing is written until the owner applies it.

Every price is public. The pricing page prints the flat plans and the seat policy, and the switch page lists three things you can watch happen, or undo, rather than take our word for.
An example quotes list. Quote 249 for a Tesla Model Y, full front paint protection film at $2,190 on a 72 percent margin costed from the roll on the rack, moving from sent to approved with a $500 deposit paid online, and invoice 1042 raised by itself once the job closed. Sample data.

Service VIN owns the other half: the quote, the booked bay, the paid invoice

How you can check this
Every guardrail is written on the Google Ads Autopilot page: campaigns are created paused, imported ones start report-only, and your daily ceiling is never crossed.
An example reports screen for the last 90 days: $18,353 of revenue and $8,002 of gross profit at a 43.6 percent margin, eight weeks of takings as a column chart, and one line broken out by source, Google Ads with 6 booked jobs worth $8,940, reported back to Google as what each click was really worth. Sample data.
Every plan includes the owner app and the installer app: your shop on your phone, your crew on theirs, added to the home screen with no app store.
Service VIN, answered
Who is Service VIN for?
Appearance and cosmetic shops first: paint protection film, window tint, vinyl wrap, ceramic coating and detailing, mobile or bricks and mortar. Repair, tire, lube, dent and car audio shops run the front desk and marketing layer beside the shop system they already have, because we do not do parts catalogues or labour times.
What does Service VIN replace?
For most shops it takes the place of a separate business phone line, a texting app, a quoting tool, a booking page, a paper or whiteboard bay board, an invoicing tool and a review-request service. It does not replace your accounting: QuickBooks Online and Xero are integrations, not things we try to be.
How much does Service VIN cost?
Flat monthly pricing for the whole shop with no per-seat charge: Essentials $79, Growth $199, Operations $299, Command $399 in US dollars, two months free on annual billing, and unlimited team logins from Growth up. Adding an installer, a front-desk hire and a detailer never moves the bill. The pricing page carries what is in each plan.
Is there a free trial?
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with every feature unlocked, and no credit card is asked for. Nothing is charged during the trial and nothing converts automatically when it ends: you pick a plan when you are ready, or you do not.
Does it answer the phone when the shop is busy?
Yes. Calls ring your phone first, so you always get to pick up. On a genuine miss the caller gets a text from your own business number within seconds, the quote is drafted from your own service catalog and prices, and the booking is written into your own calendar. That is the Operations plan at $299 a month.
Can I move my customers and job history across from my old software?
Yes. There are native import presets for Urable, Tint Wiz and OrbisX, plus QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books and any CSV, covering customers, vehicles, invoice history, job history and open leads. Imported records are held apart from the live messaging rails, so a back catalogue can never text somebody who has not heard from you in two years.
Does it work for a shop in Canada?
Yes, and it was built in one. Your shop sets one tax rate and every invoice line is taxable or exempt against it, so GST or HST is a setting rather than a workaround, and the sales-tax report gives your bookkeeper the taxable base, the exempt base and the tax actually charged. There is no per-province split on a single invoice. Texting needs no carrier registration in Canada, and plans are billed in US dollars.
