Built for your trade

Shop software by trade, built for what your shop does.

Two honest tiers: the whole operation for appearance and detailing shops, the front desk and the marketing beside what a repair shop already runs.

14-day free trial, every feature unlocked, no credit card required

The short answer

Which trades does Service VIN work for, and what does each one get?

  • It is one product with 12 front doors, and they are not all the same offer. Pick the page for the work you do and it says which of the two you are being sold.
  • Appearance and accessory trades get the whole operation: quoting costed from real material, bay scheduling, booking with deposits, invoicing, payments, warranties and the AI front desk. Film and vinyl are bought by the roll and cut by the linear foot, so a quote can be costed from what the job will actually consume.
  • Repair, tire, mobile mechanic and quick lube shops get the front desk and the marketing layer alongside the shop system they already run: the phone answered, every missed call texted back, calls recorded, reviews asked and ads measured. There are no labour guides, no parts ordering and no digital inspections here.
  • Three trades are not for us and are named on this page with the reason, because a trial that ends in a refund costs everybody more than an honest no.
  • Pricing is flat per shop, Essentials $79, Growth $199, Operations $299 and Command $399 in US dollars with no per-seat charge, a 14-day free trial with every feature unlocked and no credit card needed for 14 days.

Bottom line: If you install film or coatings, the deciding question is whether the software knows what a foot of material costs you. If you turn wrenches, it is whether anybody answered the phone.

The whole operation

Pick the work you do.

The operations center for automotive service shops. The full operations center for appearance and detailing shops. For repair, tire and lube shops, the front desk and marketing layer that sits beside the system you already run.

  • A squeegee resting on a black fender half covered in clear film, slip solution beading on the bare half.
    Paint protection film

The whole operation for a film shop: quotes costed from the roll on your rack, film tracked to the foot, warranties registered against the VIN.

  • A rear windscreen from the back seat, fresh tint wet on the glass, a hard card and a heat gun on the shelf.
    Window tint

The whole operation for a tint shop: per-vehicle quoting, film to the foot, bays that never double-book, and the review ask timed to the keys changing hands.

Beside what you already run

Repair side: we take the phone.

We do not write a repair order. There are no labour guides, no parts ordering and no digital inspections here, so a repair, tire, mobile or lube shop keeps the system it runs on and gives us the front desk and the marketing instead. Nothing migrates.

  • The calls screen: a list of recent calls with their recordings and summaries.
    General auto repair

For a general repair shop, Service VIN is the front desk and marketing layer that runs alongside the shop system you already have.

    See what it does
  • The leads screen, new enquiries at the top with their source and status.
    Tire and wheel

For a tire and wheel shop, Service VIN is the front desk and marketing layer that runs alongside the shop system you already have: the phone answered, the booking request taken, the review asked.

    See what it does
  • The inbox: a customer conversation open beside the list of threads.
    Mobile mechanic

For a mobile mechanic, Service VIN is the front desk and marketing layer that runs alongside your invoicing: the missed call texted back, the booking request taken, a secure page for every quote and receipt.

    See what it does
  • The automations screen, listing the messages that send on each job moment.
    Quick lube

For a quick lube, Service VIN is the front desk and marketing layer that runs alongside your point of sale: every missed call texted back and every review asked.

Not a trade, a country

Whatever you install, there are two questions that are Canadian rather than trade-specific: what the invoice does about tax, and what the rails do about texting. Shop software for Canadian shops answers both, including the one thing it does not do.

Not for us

Three trades we will not sell to, and the reason in each case: Collision and body, because the insurer networks run that work on their own systems; Dealership service departments, because the manufacturer chooses the system; Heavy-duty and fleet, because fleet billing, terms and statements are a different product. An honest no costs less than a trial that ends in a refund.

I run a PPF shop, and we're all installers before we're business owners, so I built the software I couldn't buy. Whatever you install or repair, one flat price, whole crew.
