Earn on paying referrals
When a shop you referred becomes a paying customer, you earn 20% of their plan subscription revenue — not once, but on every payment they make for the next 24 months. Coaches, 20 Groups and trade associations earn 25%. We'll set you up with tracking and payout details once you're approved.

These are the program terms. They are not an earnings promise — what you actually make depends on who you refer — and they are restated in the affiliate agreement you sign when you're approved.

At list price and at the 20% standard rate, for a shop that stays the full 24 months. Real commission is calculated on plan subscription revenue after any discount and net of the card-processing fee, so these are ceilings rather than promises.

Disclosure & program terms outline
We run this straight. Read the ground rules before you apply — the full terms live in the signed affiliate agreement.
- Disclose the relationship. If you promote Service VIN for commission, you must clearly tell your audience it's a paid/affiliate relationship — that's required under the FTC endorsement guides (US) and the Competition Bureau's rules on material connections (Canada). No astroturfing, no fake reviews.
- No earnings guarantees. Nothing here promises income. What you make depends on who you actually refer and whether they subscribe. The chart on this page is illustrative, not a forecast.
- Recurring for 24 months. You earn 20% of a referred shop's plan subscription revenue on every payment they make, from their first one until the term is up — 25% if you're a coach, 20 Group or trade association. It's calculated on plan revenue only, after any discount and net of the card fee.
- New paying shops only. Commission is earned on genuinely new shops that become paying Service VIN customers through your link — not on existing customers, trials that never convert, or refunds/chargebacks.
- A 30-day hold before payout. Commission sits pending for 30 days before it becomes payable. That window is what absorbs refunds and chargebacks, so we're not chasing you for money already sent. It's the standard arrangement across SaaS affiliate programs.
- No self-referrals. You can't earn by signing up your own shop or subscribing under your own link. The affiliate agreement spells out the self-referral rule in full.
- Terms are set by the signed agreement. The commission rate, cookie window, payout schedule and threshold shown above are the published program terms. The binding numbers for your account are the ones in the affiliate agreement you sign at approval. We may change the published terms on notice; a change doesn't alter an agreement already signed.

Who can join the Service VIN affiliate program?
Anyone with a genuine audience of auto detailing, PPF, wrap, tint or ceramic shop owners — creators, consultants, trainers, suppliers and existing customers. We review applications to keep the program relevant and honest; we're not looking for spammy coupon or incentive traffic.
How and when do affiliates get paid?
You earn on every plan payment a shop you referred makes, for 24 months from their first one — 20% of their plan subscription revenue, or 25% if you're a coach, 20 Group or trade association. Commission is calculated on recurring plan revenue only, after any discount and net of the card-processing fee; one-time charges like setup, training, hardware and telephony pass-through aren't commissionable. Payouts run monthly once you clear a $50 minimum balance, and your first commission is held for 30 days before it becomes payable, which is what covers refunds and chargebacks. If a payment is refunded later in the term we net that against your future commission — we never take back money already paid to you, and you can never end up owing us anything. Your rate, schedule, threshold and payout method are set out in the affiliate agreement you sign at approval, and that agreement is what governs your account.
How are referrals tracked?
You'll get a unique referral link and code once you're approved. Referrals are attributed through that link within the program's 60-day cookie window — the first affiliate to refer a shop keeps the credit. We'll walk you through your tracking and payout setup as part of approval.
Can I refer my own shop or sign up under my own link?
Self-referrals aren't eligible — the program rewards bringing new shops to Service VIN, not discounting your own subscription. The affiliate agreement spells out the self-referral rule in full.
How long is the cookie window?
60 days from the click. We publish the number rather than leave it vague, and it's restated in the affiliate agreement you sign at approval.
